Tayler has always had a strong passion for providing financial education to those who need it the most. After leaving high school and observing how our education systems leave us woefully unprepared for navigating the world of financial health and literacy, Tayler sought to self-educate to avoid the financial pitfalls that many of us fall into.

Years later, Tayler's passion for writing, researching, and educating those close to him on matters of financial health drove him to pursue it as a career, enabling him to dedicate more time to something he felt was not only important but lacking in the broader society. He challenged the Financial Advisor certification exams and landed employment in one of the largest banks in Canada. After working in this role for a number of years, Tayler found himself feeling unfulfilled as he realized that the type of financial education that people needed could not be offered while working in the predatory banking sector. He later resigned to continue his passion independently.

It wasn't until Tayler was introduced to the world of cryptocurrency and DeFi in 2018 that he realized he was not alone in his desire for a more equal, transparent, and permissionless financial system that did not aim to further disenfranchise those who don't hold privileged societal standings. He knew this was the platform and framework in which to continue his crusade with like-minded individuals.

Since those early days, Tayler has gone on to study Computers and Information Systems, pursues a never-ending blockchain education through both formal and self-study, and continuously hones his knowledge, skills and experience by staying up-to-date on macro and micro trends across the broader finance, tech, economic and political fields.
