You might have heard that the current US administration put out its economic report for 2023. Clocking in at over 500 pages long, the yearly report includes a 30 page chapter about crypto for the first time since it began in 1950.
Given the current administration’s approach to cryptocurrency, it should come as no surprise that the crypto chapter wasn’t exactly positive. It highlighted every risk associated with crypto while shilling FedNow and CBDCs.
Even so, the fact that the administration feels it’s necessary to come out and say that crypto is bad is a sign that lots of people think that it’s good. The authors even seem admit that crypto is here to stay, but not all of them…
