Fantom: STRONG Potential?! FTM Prediction!!

Hey Guys,

With the crypto market looking as bullish as it is, I've been on the look out for any overlooked gems that I could potentially add to my cryptocurrency portfolio.

One of these cryptocurrencies is Fantom, and given that it was pumping a lot recently, I figured it was a good time to cover it and see what's been going on there.

I honestly forgot just how legit Fantom was. For starters, Fantom uses a DAG architecture which allows it to process around 20 thousand transactions per second.

Smart contract TPS is only in the hundreds because Fantom leverages the Ethereum Virtual Machine, but the tradeoff is that Ethereum devs can easily deploy their dApps on Fantom, and many have done just that.

Speaking of Ethereum devs, Andre Cronje's return to Fantom seems to have put the project back on track. FTM has grown exponentially since I last covered it, and this is due to a combination of the hype and hard work coming from Andre's return. FTM might look like it's pumped a lot, but from where I'm standing it looks like it has a lot more room to grow.

This is primarily because Fantom has a very promising roadmap. Although Fantom doesn't have an official roadmap per se, the Fantom Foundation is pushing to expand Fantom's reach, improve the Fantom protocol, and continue forging strong partnerships with public and private institutions.

Besides the multiple milestones the Fantom team is hoping to achieve, there are a whole bunch of announcements that are just waiting to happen. For example, Aave should be deploying on Fantom any day now, and it looks like Coinbase could be coming close to listing FTM. Fantom's massive developer incentive is also attracting a lot of users and developers.

My only real concerns with Fantom is that it's not as transparent as it could be, and it also seems to be heavily reliant on Andre. Luckily, it looks like he's not planning on leaving anytime soon. The current lineup at the Fantom Foundation seems to be super solid, and if they keep it up, I could see Fantom going places.
