Feeling a bit generous on the video front, so thought I would get you another one as quick as I could...
We all know that the ideals espoused by Satoshi in his whitepaper are great, but reality is unfortunately far from that. Bitcoin is nowhere near being that P2P “digital cash” that he envisioned.
This means that using Bitcoin as a medium of exchange at physical merchant locations is nigh on impossible. No one is going to wait for 20 mins to pay for their coffee, let alone the high fees that come with it.
Yes, there are other faster or cheaper cryptocurrencies, but merchants just aint adopting them. Customers don't use them and they just fall by the wayside.
However, there is another way and that is Flexa.
This is a project that has been doing pretty well lately and they make frictionless P2P crypto payments practical. Payments in any crypto you want. And, the best thing is that the merchant doesn't even have to accept the crypto, they could get paid in fiat... Instantly! 🤯
They are able to do this thanks to that Flexa Network and their collateral asset (AMP). This is also pretty relevant now as they are migrating from their Flexacoin token (FXC) to the new AMP. Oh, and it goes live for deposits on Gemini in about 20 minutes 😉
