HAVE YOU READ THIS Crypto Bill!? Regulations Incoming!?
Hey Guys,
About 2 weeks ago, a relatively pro crypto US bill was leaked. It was authored by Senators Cynthia Lummis and Kirsten Gillibrand
What's funny is that this bill didn't exactly leak - drafts of it had already been circulating for a few months.
What's even funnier is that the initial drafts (and the final draft) were met with praise from the crypto industry whereas the "leaked" bill that came out the day before was met with criticism. What a crazy bunch we are in this crypto industry!
Jokes aside, this crypto bill is probably the most comprehensive of any that's been presented by a politician in the United States, and though it's not perfect, I consider it to be a first - and significant - step towards reasonable crypto regulation.
Today, the senators have opened up the bill for public comment. But of course, you will have had to have read it to opine.
