Netflix Crypto Documentary: QuadrigaCX - Here's My Take!!

Hey Guys,

Last day in Miami and I will be heading out to the airport this evening. The conference was honestly really exciting - mainly because I met so many Coin Bureau fans! I am looking forward to meeting many more over the coming year.

I will also be doing a piece in my newsletter this weekend on the conference, as well as a dedicated video on the most important things that went down. So, stay tuned for that!

Onto a different topic though, and that's my latest video!

I'm sure you've all heard of the recent crypto documentary released by Netflix by now, and chances are someone of you have watched it already. From what I can tell it received some pretty mixed reviews from the crypto industry, so I decided to give it a watch and cover it.

For context, the documentary was about Quadriga CX, the Canadian cryptocurrency exchange that shut down in 2019 after its founder died with the private keys to the exchange's crypto wallets. I actually covered the scandal way back in 2020.

As it so happens, one of my fellow crypto colleagues at the Coin Bureau has first hand experience with Quadriga and he was kind enough to give me info and images that I could use in today's video. It's safe to say that it wasn't an ordinary crypto exchange.

I don't want to give too much away here, but I will tell you that I think there's a very real possibility Gerald is still alive. There are just way too many crazy things about this case that don't add up, and I personally don't think Quadriga's crypto is truly gone.
