Solana: SOL Potential in 2022!? This You NEED To Know!! ☀ï¸
Hey Guys,
It looks like I've gotten into the habit of doing updates on major crypto projects every 4 months or so, and today is Solana's turn in the spotlight. 😎
It's safe to say that some interesting stuff has happened since I last covered the project in December.
To be blunt, Solana has had no shortage of unfortunate events. It's blockchain experienced "degraded performance" about half a dozen times, and Solana's Wormhole bridge to Ethereum was exploited for over 320 million dollars of ETH.
It should come as no surprise then that SOL has been having a bad time as far as prices go, but you'd be surprised at how much institutions seem to be accumulating behind the scenes. Multiple institutional investment vehicles for SOL have also listed on exchanges.
Solana itself has also seen a decent amount of development, particularly in it's NFT ecosystem. More recently Solana seems to have pivoted to stablecoin payments in USDC, and with enough adoption, this could be enough of a demand driver for new all time highs.
