When it comes to trading cryptocurrencies, you will have seen that there are generally two camps of people. There are your hodlers who stack crypto and hold onto it despite the market vagaries.

Then, you have your traders who will try and trade in and out of the markets and thereby accumulate more capital. If they are doing this, then the vast majority of them are using a form of technical analysis.

Indeed, some of the most active Bitcoin traders out there right now focus almost exclusively on technical analysis. They have crafted a strategy that allows them to take advantage of the volatility and use it to make outsized daily gains.

However, technical analysis is not always clearly defined nor explained. Many of these "TA Experts" assume that those new to the crypto market should automatically understand how the Technical Analysis works.

The truth is that many don't. And this is exactly the reason why I wanted to make a video about it. I wanted to break it down step-by-step and lay the groundwork for a more solid understanding of what it is.

The video also takes you through some of the most useful patterns, charts, indicators and other tools that you can use to at least get started with some of your own TA.

I should also point out that this is by no means fully comprehensive and there is so much more to cover that I will have to come back to the topic with a follow up video.
