This Will Surprise YOU!! Bitcoin Legal Tender is Coming To...
Hey Guys,
Some of you may remember that El Salvador announced it would be making Bitcoin legal tender at last year's Bitcoin Conference in Miami. With this year's Bitcoin Conference a few days away, some people suspect we'll see another big announcement.
Today's video is basically me speculating as to which countries will be next to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender, and whether we will see any of them announce something at the Bitcoin Conference. I was fairly surprised by what I found to say the least.
I won't give too much away here, but it really looks like crypto heavyweights like Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, former Blockstream CSO Samson Mow, and even Mexican billionaire banker Ricardo Salinas Pliego have been travelling around Latin America preaching BTC.
If you know anything about the history of El Salvador's Bitcoin adoption, you'll know it began with a similar story - rich guy establishes a crypto enclave and eventually manages to spur adoption at the national level.
It's safe to say that there's some interesting stuff going on, and all the sanctions we've seen against Russia's central bank seems to have put Bitcoin back on the radar of countries that don't want to ally themselves with either side in the current conflict.
