And this is perhaps the most important one for any of you that are thinking of picking up an NFT.
That's because I will be taking you through some of the worst scams and red flags that you can fall for.
Now, while it's true that the NFT space has exploded recently, the unpleasant reality is that at least 95% of the NFTs that you see on the market right now are worthless. In fact, a large proportion of them are perhaps scams masquerading as "the next bored ape"
So, this means that you will need to have a strategy to quickly identify and filter out those NFTs that could be nothing more than worthless jpegs.
My top 10 anti-scam strategy list includes tips and tricks that will help you spot phishing attacks, fake Discord groups, social media impersonators, wash trading and artificial market manipulation, bidding scams, counterfeit NFTs, untrustworthy storage sites, suspicious promos, paid ads, and unrealistic roadmaps.
Forewarned is forearmed and if you can deploy this strategy as part of your own research, you are more than likely to zone in on gems than duds.
